Take a taxi to Recoleta Cemetery; a ‘must see’ not only due to the grave of Eva Peron though to walk around this peaceful environment of incredible sculptures and pathways creating a small ‘city’. Close by to Recoleta is the famous Café Tortini, an historical coffee shop, famous since 1861 and frequented by many artists; an ideal place for a pit stop!

If a keen walker, take a walk to the Colon Theatre, a World acclaimed opera house recently being lovingly restored and known for the exceptional acoustics; guided tours are held here daily.

For culture and art lovers, there are a total of 57 museums; MALBA for those interested in Latin American art and a very popular choice is the Eva Peron Museum at Plaza Italia, a taxi ride away from Plaza de Mayo (the Main Square) stands the Government house from whose balcony Eva Peron addressed the masses.

An evening in Buenos Aires would not be complete without a visit to a Tango Show! Why not enjoy a wine tasting early evening at the intimate La Cava and on for an a la carte dinner and traditional Tango Show at the historic and authentic El Querandi.
