Close by to Recoleta is the famous Café Tortini, an historical coffee shop, famous since 1861 and frequented by many artists; an ideal place for a pit stop!

If a keen walker, take a walk to the Colon Theatre, a World acclaimed opera house recently being lovingly restored and known for the exceptional acoustics; guided tours are held here daily.

For culture and art lovers, there are a total of 57 museums; MALBA for those interested in Latin American art and a very popular choice is the Eva Peron Museum at Plaza Italia, a taxi ride away from Plaza de Mayo (the Main Square) stands the Government house from whose balcony Eva Peron addressed the masses.
