Sunvil guests to Paleohora in Greece, Linda Parker and David Joyce spotted a little shaggy dog, with a broken back leg wandering about the streets of Paleo. The dog in fact was known to P.A.W.S. our local cat and dog rescue. Khaleesi as she was known was fostered by Donna and Dimitri Korkidis until a new home could be found for her. They enquired at the time about adopting her only to find that another English couple had asked before them.
They returned to England very sad. After a couple of weeks later P.A.W.S. contacted me to say the adoption had fallen through so I immediately contacted Linda and the ball started rolling from there. After much paperwork and a tidy sum of money spent, Linda and David flew out of Heraklion on Sunday, but not before a heart stopping moment the day before when Khaleesi went missing – luckily she came back 4 hours later!
Back in UK Khaleesi has been to the Beauty Parlour and you can see the before and after shots. She now joins the lovely black and white cats, Toby and Daisy so now for a wonderful life with Linda and David.
